L'Trimm

Voted "Hip-Hop Goddesses of the Month" in the Nov/Dec '89 issue of The Source, Bunny D. and Lady Tigra started rhyming together in Southern Florida.
Although only teens when their careers began, L'Trimm left a mark in the hip-hop scene with three bass heavy, bottom thumping albums -- 1988's Grab It!, 1989's Drop That Bottom and 1991's Groovy -- and one classic, unforgettable hit, "Cars With the Boom." For a brief period their CD, Grab It!, stayed on the charts after Atlantic leased it from Time-X, but they were unable to get another single to maintain the momentum, and kiddie pop gradually lost its audience.
